Multi instrumentalist Ian Chase has been producing original music since the 80s. He cofounded Jacksonville sludge pop band Rein Sanction and signed with Sub Pop Records. Their self titled debut EP was rereleased in 2019 by Southern Lord Records. Using a minimalist approach with guitar and synthesizer to achieve hypnotic rhythms he is in preproduction for a debut solo recording with producer Randall Dunn.
